Employee Assistance Programs (EAPs)

Employee Assistance Programs can be valuable tools for during times of stress. During the COVID-19 pandemic make sure your employees have access to all of the resources available to them.

Anthem

Anthem remains deeply committed to supporting our members and their families during this time of uncertainty. One key way we're doing this is through Resource Advisor, a member assistance program included with our life and disability plans.

Resource Advisor gives members access to a variety of resources to help them cope with challenges they face due to the COVID-19 outbreak — all at no extra cost. The program includes:

  • Counseling services by phone.
  • Counseling services by video chat through LiveHealth Online.
  • Helpful information through pre-recorded online seminars.

Encourage your clients to remind their employees and their families to use these valuable services — and let them know that, even in this time of physical distancing, they're never on their own. Learn more about Resource Advisor and find tips to share on coping with anxiety and stress in this flyer.

May is Disability Insurance Awareness Month ((DIAM)

In addition to extra services and support through the Resource Advisor program, disability insurance gives members valuable financial security and protection if an unexpected injury or illness prevents an employee from working. This income replacement is critical to financial wellness. Use this infographic to share the value of disability coverage with your clients this month.
