Dream Racer cars are made by a NASCAR engineer who decided to design special cars out of the same materials as real race cars, but for sick kids. These cars, and their built in driving video games, help take kids minds off of treatments and get them sitting up during recovery.

with cookies and a surf side flair. 

The Bremer Group was once again named "Best Health Insurance Agents & Brokers 2019" by the St. Louis Small Business Monthly.

Each year The Bremer Groups hosts an educational event for its clients. 

This year we enjoyed breakfast and speakers at 

Vue17 on the top of the Club Towers in Brentwood.

Featured speakers included Dannae Delano with the Wagner Law Group, 

Pam Caldwell with HIPAA Saint Louis, Chris Caldwell with BMA Inc., 

and Emily Bremer.

Our first session, "Ask the Attorney" gave opportunities to ask Dannae individual questions on topics concerning participants. 

Pam discussed how employers and group health plans are impacted by HIPAA. Chris, an IT professional, touched on the security concerns 

associated with HIPAA compliance.

Emily rounded out the morning sharing practical tools and trends that can be implemented for your employee benefits plans and processes.

     Emily was invited to speak to the next generation of physicians about health insurance after ACA became law. Her presentation When Failure Is Not An Option: Staying ahead of the curve and maintaining your sanity during an industry transformation, addressed the practical side of healthcare in light of what health insurance provides.

Emily applied her expert opinion to various insurance scenarios: 

1. "Jenny meets Jack" - helping young adults navigate health insurance;
2. "Newly married" - what to do in the case of a qualifying event;
3. "5-years later" - as your kids grow up your insurance needs change;
4. "Sandwich generation" - Kids in college often have multiple options;
5. "Considering retirement" - When everything changes, what is the best option?

The Bremer Group hosted a seminar for clients and friends of the agency at The Veu17 in Brentwood, MO. It was at this event we first announce that we were changing the name of the agency to The Bremer Group, LLC.

Emily presented The Future of The Affordable Care Act: The Employer Persective.  In the light of proposed legislation, Emily examined the potential impact each bill might have if passed.

Dan Meylan of AllieNational presented: Cutting Edge Solutions for Small Group Health Plans which address self-funding options for small group health plans.
